In 2012, I had the opportunity to attend a Study Abroad program in the small village of Oestrich-Winkel, Germany. I spent nearly 6 months there, attending school at the European Business School, and was able to experience so many amazing things, from exploring the different sights to trying new foods and developing international friendships. In the blog posts below, you’ll get to experience Germany through the eyes of a 21 year old female student that moved halfway across the world to study business and immerse herself in German culture.
In 2015, I had the opportunity to visit Germany again with one of my best friends at the time, who had a friend in Germany that she met through the military. I was able to explore the other side of Germany, Berlin, with her and a local guy to show us around. Germany will always hold a special place in my heart and I can’t wait to visit again!
